After you make or choose a hangout you can launch the Hangout right from the extension!

 The project is brand new and needs people to work, so the more people see this the more useful the extension will be.

If you don’t use Chrome or don’t really like the idea of an extension I made a website counter part to this extension that has all the same features.

Overall the final project will have native api integration with Google Plus once Google opens up the apis. For now its using 3rd party apis to get the users picture/information.

The final version will also have a “jump in random hangout” option. Sort of a “Hangout roulette” It’ll be a lot of fun.

It’s not even a day old, so it obviously has to get some users before it starts being useful yet. But if you like the idea, download it! Share it! Be brave and one of the first to start a hangout using it! Once more people see hangouts more will step up and make some, and soon it’ll be the best way to find google plus hangouts!

A Pumpkin Patch is a series of social utilities, games, and chat rooms that allows people to meet, connect and chat with new random people in various ways online, many using a Webcam and Microphone, or simply using text.

 This is the first exposure the site is getting. So you can’t expect something like this that really requires an established user base to “work” right away. It will take some time to grow. But when it does it’s going to be a lot of fun. I’ve never seen anything like this, at least that goes the extent that i’m planning.

I’ve had a lot of fun building it, and i’ve learned so much. I’m almost done the Android and iOS app which im sure when that makes it out there will be a huge boost in online users.

I’m really excited to see how the [convos] section of the site will work out once it has a user base. I figured if you’re having random chats, they’re going to be pretty crazy and pretty random. So why not share them? I’m also betting the’ll be a fun read if you’re looking for a laugh or just really really bored.

This is still just the beginning, I have huge plans for this project and im going to keep building and supporting it. Especially once the Android and iOS apps are done.  Which im expecing will be within the next week or two. Keep checking back! and go have some random chats!
